The legal system is set up to fulfill the promise, recited every day,of liberty and justice for all in the United States.  However, unless you have money, education, or come from a background of privilege, that promise might be out of your reach. 

The People’s Advocate seeks to level the playing field so that all who deserve justice, can access it. The Peoples Advocate was founded to promote civil rights and social justice; to advocate for the rehabilitation and healing of children caught in the juvenile justice and child welfare systems; to end violence against women, children and animals; to fight for environmental justice and reduce exposure to toxic pollutants; and, to keep families together by helping to find legal and social solutions to immigration issues impeding family unity.

The People's Advocate will work in the legal system to advocate for holistic representation that affords real justice for all seeking remedies, and to those in need of rehabilitation. Also, federal, state, and local agencies; and, nonprofit agencies of all kinds will be viewed as allies to create bridges and connections that will make a more just community where possibilities are real. Attorneys, psychologists, social workers, community organizers and many, many, many volunteers will all be part of The Peoples Advocate team.
